Kenyan SMS's Take & Save Lives

Kenya's civil turmoil has become very tech-saavy. According to the Globe and Mail, some teenagers in the now volatile African country are using text messages to help plan hits on rival groupstext "encouraging them to deal with enemies "the Rwanda way"".

The government considered blocking cell phone frequencies to prevent them being misused this way. But in the end decided more harm would be done by blocking texting of messages between cell phones because people were also using the popular devices to get relatives to rescue them.
